5B: Self help

People who are OK about themselves will look after themselves. It’s when you are on the run & your only value is in external achievement, in what you give to other people, that you are undermined. You eat the wrong things, you don’t exercise, you breathe badly. It’s a kind of self-negation

There is little sense that you have inside you a precious jewel that is just as important as something projected on the outside. Sometimes people don’t know it, or they haven’t found it, or it’s been negated at some point in their lives.

It’s the finding of that jewel that helps people after a heart attack to have the strength to live
